I am setting up this blog mostly for myself. However if you should stumble upon it you are more than welcome. Life changes faster than a blink of an eye, and faster than I could ever hope to keep up with it. I find myself with thoughts that I later wish I could recall. Hopefully this blog will help me with that.
Well as seeing that this is an introduction post, I'll introduce myself. I'm Kelsey! I grew up in the deep south, in Macon, Georgia. At the age of 13 my family packed up and moved to the great state of Texas. I fully consider myself a Texan. How does the saying go?
"I wasn't born here but I got here just as soon as I could!"
I am currently 20 years old but cannot even begin to contain my excitement about turning 21. My mother I'm sure wishes I would try to contain it a little more. Speaking of Momma, this woman is by far the most important person in my life. I'm sure as time goes on I will elaborate even more on why this woman is so influential in my life.I have three hilariously aggravating siblings; Miranda (18), Andrew (16), and John (13). 90% of the time I want to kill them, but I would kill for them all the time. Life certainly would be dull with out them. Family consumes my life, well family and school.
I am now a junior at Texas Tech University (Guns Up!) majoring in Communication Studies. This has been a fairly recent change. Since I was a junior in high school I knew I was going to major in Political Science and be Pre-Law. Now I know that's not exactly what God has in store for me. Truthfully I'm not exactly sure what it is he has in store for me, but I'm willing to do the work and see what he throws my way.
That's me in a nutshell I guess. Little facts; I'm obsessed with the Wizard of Oz, pink is my favorite color, I cannot survive without coffee, and I fully believe that Texan Redheads are a unique and amazing breed! I'm not going to say see you in a week or set up any kind of time line on blog posts. I'll just leave it at...
